Another school year

Well, I started school a few weeks ago. Boooring, although the first week of school was complete Hell, as everything went wrong. My car broke down, my financial aid didn't go through, I had to drop a class because it was in complete Latin, etc. The classes I'm taking aren't so bad, but I think during the summer, I lost my spark. Who knows, really? I'm looking forward to work starting again soon -- it'll give me something to do.

Mostly, I've been playing video games. I love the Wii, but there are no good games for it at the moment. I'm waiting for MySims (out next week), Octopuzzle, Endless Ocean, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and Super Mario Galaxy. I'm going to die when all the games come out and I have no money. As for DS, I've been spending most of my time playing Rune Factory. It's pretty awesome, I love Harvest Moon and I love RPGs, so mix them together and you get this. I'm trying to marry Felicity, but I don't have enough money to buy a big house.

So my Rune Factory character, much like his player, is a broke ass bitch.

Woe is the Bum

I need a job. Badly. My grandparents keep getting on my case about staying up all night and sleeping until 4pm. So, I've decided -- this monday, I'm going down to the temp agency and getting a job in an office. Sure, it might be a little different to what I'm used to, as I'm used to restaurants, but chock it all up to experience, don'tcha know? Regardless, I'm slightly nervous, but whatever comes to me I can take it. I realized I'm always so pessimistic, I don't ever get anything done. Oh, well, 'tis the life of a loser.

I have discovered that I'm going to give up relationships until I find an Asian boy to fall in love with. I've been HOOKED on Japanese dramas. The male characters are always so sexy and subservient. I consider myself to be a whiner, and all I ever really wanted was someone to listen to me whine. Unfortunately, Asians never seem to date outside of their race! Blast you, Asians, and your traditions! I tried getting my Taiwanese friend Tom to give me the names and numbers of his Asian brethren, but... I guess I'm destined for solitude.

My dad bought me Fable for the PC because he felt bad about telling me I need to be "cut loose into the world", but the game didn't work on my computer! Grahhh! It seemed fun, anyway.

An Ode to the Pretzel

You want to know something? I really love pretzels. I do. I love 'em. I tell all my friends and they're like "ew, that's nawsty, stfu." And I'm like "Nooo! Don't say that, pretzels are good! Really, they are!" And they're like "Stop talking to me, you're a slut." And I run and I cry and I contemplate suicide. All because of my dear old salty snack, Pretzel.

In other news, someone decided to silly-string my car while I was in slumber town. I really don't care, to be honest, but my grandmother was freaking out. I dunno why, it's my car and it doesn't bother me.

I bought Powerpuff Girls season 1... you know who's awesome? Sedusa. She knew what she was doing when she boinked the Professor. I recently saw an episode with her online where she used the Gangreen Gang to try and take over the world. It was awesome, Sedusa is such a diva. In the anime, she's lame, though.

Hello, Blog. Goodbye, Eyebrow ring.

Today begins my adventures in having a blog. I have a livejournal, but I mostly bitch and moan and talk about my nerdy obsessions. This blog will give me an opportunity to be cheerful and excited about life~! Anyhow, when I was 19, my friends and I decided to go get various piercings and tattoos together. My friend Bonnie got her lip pierced, my friend Dan got a sobriety star tattoo, and I got my eyebrow pierced. It was a symbol of friendship, as it were.

Three years later, I took my eyebrow barbell out and the hole closed up to the point where I can't put it through anymore. I only left it out a couple of days, but then I realized -- this is a blessing in disguise! There's no way I'd be able to get a job with my eyebrow ring in. Not only that, but the hole had pulled my skin so far that the layer of connecting skin was very small. Gross, I know, but that's what happened. So now, I am eyebrow-piercing free, and this picture is to commemorate the death of my eyebrow ring. I bid thee well, you will be missed.

The good news? My dad bought me the Chuck Norris "Total Gym" machine for my 22nd birthday! Who's gunna get buff? Meee~~~!
